Danny Riddle - Here Today
CD Review by Chuck Dauphin - Music News Nashville
Fans of Southern Gospel music may remember Danny Riddle as a child artist in that field. He definitely had success in it, while also embarking on a radio career that saw him host the successful Gospel show "Reach Out". His new recording, Here Today, once again sees him plowing new ground, while trying to change lives via his ministry.
He doesn't get heavy with his music or lay the preaching on too much, so when he does…you know it's from the heart, like he does on the lament "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow." These are definitely words to live by, and he performs them well. He then turns to the light and easy sounds of "One More Mountain To Climb" as well as the exceptional song, "The Potter."
There are 16 great performances on this disc, and Riddle just has a way with them that you feel like you're having a conversation with an old friend. He gives a new sound to classics like "Are You Washed In The Blood" and "Power In The Blood," and makes you sing along with tunes like "Brush Arbor Meeting." With his energetic approach to making records, I bet he is one amazing act to see live! Fans of Southern Gospel will really appreciate this warm and moving collection!

It is so great that You placed Your "Classic" Interview with Lois Jane on here and I appreciate it, that You sent me a Copy of it several months back.
Lois J, is a First Class Gospel Artist and I am so Proud, that both You and I have Her as a Dear Friend as well as a Sister in Jesus!!.
I support You 150% in getting this Interview out there and it really let's Lois Jane talk to folks and for them to really become acquainted with Her, that quite possibly will not ever get to see her in person and experience Her Realness in serving God and lving folks!.
We talk about Artists Today that are Institutions in Gospel Music, well I will say Lois Jane is more than an Institution, she is a "Landmark" in Gospel Music and was groomed and shaped by GOD Himself!!.
I have known Her for over 50 Years and in that time, she has never faltered or wavered in the Calling that gave to Her as a Child!.
Brother You take care and keep on Ministering Yourself and let's You and Me both keep Lois Jane out in the forefront with Her on Style of Gospel Music as she is "Top Notch" for the Lord in All aspects!!.
I Love and Appreciate Lois jane and I Love & Appreciate You also!!.
