Prayer Chain

We all know the Word of God...but how many of us know intimately the GOD OF THE WORD? Now that is a
catchy phrase but there is a great amount of truth in it.

A friend of mine on FaceBook posted this about me...I'm not into FarmVille (a game) but after not seeing anything of you on FaceBook
for such a long time while you fought for your life (I was in the
hospital for 8 weeks, 4.5 in ICU and 2.5 in IMCU)...I just like
seeing anything you post now...have fun friend … you deserve it !!!

And this was my response to her... Too many people are far too nice, you 2 particularly Mary Helen and Diane...but please hear me
and believe me when I say this...I never fought for my life my
friend...I was out cold and not capable of fighting. But better than
that...I believe as Paul said..."To live is for Christ...to die
...is gain..." So I can say this as a truth...God granted me
more life because as Jeremiah 29:11-14 says... "¹¹
'For I know the plans I have for you,' says the Lord. 'They are plans
for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. ¹²
In those days when you pray, I will listen. ¹³ If you look
for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. ¹⁴ I will be
found by you,' says the Lord." AMEN!!! So I pray...He listens! I
look and I do find! And in the finding He gives me a mission. And
through the mission he showers me with blessings. The Holy Ghost
granted me gifts but of them I do not boast...but He also granted me
fruits and of them I boast but not for me but to the glory they bring
my Almighty God. That is why He left me here in this temporary home
for a while...why I did not die when my doctors thought I would. I
woke up at 2:45 this morning preaching a sermon in my mind, with
tears rolling out of my eyes and shaking. God has convicted me and
baptized me with the Ghost in such a manner that is so hard to
explain. But He has also convicted me that there are far too many
people sitting in pews today who think they are saved but they are
not...they are just comfortable with religion and that ain't what
being saved means. A saved person takes the gift of salvation and
yields fruit...they don't just come to church and comfortably sit and
say Amen and then leave talking about where they will eat lunch. We
cannot work for Salvation but Salvation without works and fruits is
dead Salvation. So each of our prayers while He continues to leave us
here should be each day ... "What can I do for you today
Lord...how do you want to use me today Lord?"

I have a vision that God has placed in my heart...I pray about it often. We need a Holy Revival to sweep across this nation but it must
start somewhere...and the GOD
OF THE WORD need others to catch the FIRE. You
never have to advertise a fire. Everyone comes running when there's a
fire. Likewise, if we at Lois Jane Ministries get on fire, you will
not have to advertise it. Others will already know it. So each of
you...please start praying for it...start praying for a Holy Revival
of simply “Selling out to the will of God...selling out”!!! That
is what I mean when I speak to the GOD
OF THE WORD.

loved us so much He willingly lowered Himself to become a human being
living like us with all our human frailties, allowing Himself to be
arrested and beaten and humiliated and physically abused and crushed.
He then let Himself be nailed to a cross and suffer on that cross for
6 long hours before His physical death. But after being placed in a
grave He arose...praise God the grave did not hold Him and through
that sacrifice and through the blood He shed you and I even though we
are sinners are redeemed...justified...forgiven. That is the GOD
OF THE WORD
and the Holy Ghost has given me a mission...a ministry...to begin a
PRAYER
CHAIN
that prays daily that we can revive that feeling...revive that FIRE
exposed to us at Pentecost and bring it back into this world. WILL
YOU JOIN ME... “I know the plans I have for
you,' says the Lord. 'They are plans for good and not for disaster,
to give you a future and a hope. ¹² In those
days when you pray, I will listen.” AMEN!!!

God's Holy Ghost is the encourager LJ...we are just the instrument. But we do not have a true vision yet and we must get that vision. A revival of Spiritualism and Holiness must come upon this world or it will continue on the path that it rushes toward...a slow and painful death. Matthew 7:12-13 says... " (13) Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. (14) But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." Leonard Ravenhill said this... ""When you're sitting in a dark room, you can either sit and curse the darkness-or you can light a candle." So many are sitting in that dark room today just going with the flow of the world. And many profess to be Christians...but I fear that they are just comfortable in their "religion". I fear that they are hanging over the Abyss of Hell...dangling by a thread...and it is only by the sheer compassion of the Almighty God that they do not fall straight to Hell. We need to pray diligently, fervently that a Holy Revival will break out and consume this corrupted world. We need to light more candles. We must do what we can do for God, before He will give us the power to do what we can't do. We must engage the Holy Ghost and begin the fervent and urgent prayer needed to begin the gestation of that REVIVAL. As Diane Gillapsy says in her song...we need more knee mail going up to God. Amen! Amen! Amen! I agree wholeheartedly with all you've said, Hugh. Oh how we need a revival in our own personal lives! Thank you for taking the time to share with us. You are a blessing to everyone who knows you, Mr. Encourager.
