Praise God, you are an awesome beautiful gifted lady! It was so wonderful meeting you last week and listening to you share your incredible story of God's faithfulness and glorifying Him in song. I absolutely love to worship God in song! Your beautiful voice and songs and passion for the Lord are a blessing to us all! Thank you so much, Lois, for your ministry! I hope to see you again real soon. In His Love, Sandy
I was signed up but it was under my old email address. Because of that, I was out of the loop. Not any more! My computer died so it may be a while before I can post pictures. I love you too and cherish your friendship.
Thanks for joining us on Chicks Like Us, Lois Jane. You made our first show extra special by sharing your story. Please be sure to tune in on Wednesday evenings from 8:30-9:30 pm Central:Chicks Like Us on Blog Talk Radio
Thank you so much for letting me know that you remember. My husband is pushing 80 and he is so excited that I found you again. If you come into the area of Spartanburg, Greenville, etc. please let me know. My daughter, Sharon and her husband live here, but my daughter, Debbie and her husband, James (who is now a Pastor of his own little church), and my son, Mike and his wife, all still live in the area of Eastern Ky. My Down's son is now 35 and God has been so good to us. He is partially bedfast and I have faith that he will walk again. God has blessed us so very much. I am so happy to have found you again and can find your new music. Be Blessed. IdaLee Hansel
Lois Jane came to Whitesburg Ky some years ago and it was during a revival, Joe Bill Brown was the Pastor, I sang in the Choir and my husband was fighting giving his life to Christ and he told Lois Jane to sing "One Day at a Time" and he would walk the isle. Hope she remembers, for he did, and that is a memory all of us will never forget, and Lois Jane has always been special to the Hansels and Penningtons. We live in SC now and getting much older, and we still think of her and her ministry as special in many ways. I wrote a poem for her entitled "The Singer" and gave it to her and she told me where she was hanging it. We lost track of her and am so happy to know she is continuing her ministry. A Godly woman, beautiful inside and out. God's messenger in song with a heart.
LJ...you are so right but He gives it to all of us if we just open our hearts and minds to him. He speaks in such a quite and still voice that it took me a long time to hear and understand. But when I finally realized that He communicates with us the best if we ask Him our question or request and then be quite and just listen I began to better understand His word and His path for me. After my illness I began asking what God wanted from me or better why He spared me and I am finally coming to an understanding of what He wants. LU you and Ron so much ... the inspiration you give to me is awesome...just seeing someone who is so dedicated to the spreading of the Good News as you obviously are. TU for the faith you have and the inspiration you constantly instill in me.
Hello...this commenting, etc. is new to me...but I know someone who has a special day this month, and I just wanted to say I haven't forgotten and I think of you and pray for you. I'll always cherish the friendship, laughter, and good memories we have. By the way, I haven't the foggiest idea how to post a picture. Love Ya' Lois Jean
