“Praise the Lord, O my soul!”
(Ps.146:1)
Praise is an evidence of life, not just physical life, but the life of God in the heart. In heaven, it is all praise; In hell, there is no praise; here on earth, you must make a choice.
Praise the Lord, He can work through those who praise Him
Praise the Lord, for our God inhabits praise
Praise the Lord, for the chains that seem to bind you
Serve only to remind you that they drop powerless behind you
When you praise…

Sometimes, when Christmas rolls around, our days will overflow with joyful moments. Sometimes, we’ll face loss, experience hurt, or feel alone. But at all times, God promises to be our light in the darkness, offering us tangible help and everlasting hope.
(Xochitl Dixon)
“The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down.”
(Ps.146:8)

It feels like a lifetime ago when you would come sing at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Danville, KY. It's great to see you still singing for the Lord. I do have one request. Would you consider having someone add a discography page to this website. I'm a record/CD collector, especially Gospel/Christian/CCM records and CDs. I ran across one of your records in a pawn shop the other day. The album was in terrible shape but you had signed the cover and I picked it up. The lady gave me the whole lot for about 10 bucks because she wanted to get rid of them. Anyway, I realized that I really need to get to work on the Lois Jane section of my Gospel collection, but getting good information about exactly what you have put out is a bit difficult to find. I will be praying for you and i'm going to watch this page for the next time you come near Louisville. God bless you.
Hello Cousin Lois Jane
Check your personal email I sent my phone number to you. Its been to long not talking to you.
I love you...
Martha
Hi Lois Jane, just a 'lil note to let you know that I am still praying for you. I hope that this will find you 'all better' now.
Much love in the Name of Jesus, Name above all others,
My love and hugs for you too, Janae
From Ron, Lois Jane's husband. "I am at emergency room with Lois Jane and almost didn't make it. Her breathing was being obstructed and shaking in arms and legs. Thought it was possible heart attack or stroke. Shots with wires running everywhere got her stabilized. Have been seeing an ENT doctor because of earlier possible obstruction in throat, but nothing showed up. Doing a neck scan now to see if another type of obstruction. Got her stabilized. Continue to pray and will update later."
Lois Jane, we are never going to completely grow up, are we? It is such a good thing to be able to be a little child like now and again. I hope that you have a wonderful, blessed birthday. And since I reached this age just a couple months before you, let me tell you the water is fine - come on in! In many ways these later years of our lives are the most fulfilling and blessed. Love you!!!!
Thanks Lois Jane, I need and appreciate your prayers too! It's been a tough week for me because my medications are rejecting my body again. It really makes things more difficult when the fatigue sets in. But on the bright side, I just started a group called 12 Steps, A Spiritual Journey. There are so many who are living a life of fear, anxiety, continuing in old habits, etc. We all have "STUFF" and if we don't take care of our stuff - our stuff will take care of us. hahahaha - I have heard that some where. But it's true. So many women are living in the past and I want their future to be bright with Christ!! I know, I spent so much of my life in bondage but now I am FREE and hoping to help others. God always gives me just what I need when I need it! Love you!!!!!
