Thank you, Lord. Those of us who know Jesus as our personal Savior can still repeat these words through difficult days with confidence.
"... I still belong to You; You are holding my right hand. You will keep on guiding me with Your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. Whom have I in heaven but You? I desire You more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; He is mine forever."

"Remember the Lord in everything you do, and He will show you the right way."(Ps.3:6)
We can almost hear God saying to us: "Leave the control of your life to Me."
Trust Him. He has it all figured out. His understanding is infinite. He sees your past, present, and future. He knows you better than you know yourself. And He loves you totally. He will guide you step by step.

"For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come."(Heb.13:14)
This world is not my home, I'm just a passing through
My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue.
The angels beckon me from heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”"(Rev.1:8)
The Lord God is the beginning and the end. God the Father is the eternal Lord and ruler of the past, present, and future. Without him you have nothing that is eternal, nothing that can change your life, nothing that can save you from sin. Is the Lord your reason for living, "the Alpha and Omega ," of your life? Honor the…

I walked a mile with Pleasure,
She chatted all the way;
But left me none the wiser
For all she had to say.
I walked a mile with Sorrow,
And ne'er a word said she;
But oh, the things I learned from her
When Sorrow walked with me.

Good news, Christians!!
“God in his gracious kindness declares us not guilty. For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins. We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed his blood, sacrificing his life for us.” (Rom.3:24-25)
Grace, grace, God's grace
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within.
Grace, grace, God's grace
Grace that is greater than all our sin.

One day Jesus will call my name
As days go by 'hope I don't the same.
I wanna get so close to Him there's no big change
On that day that Jesus calls my name! (Phil McHugh)

It doesn't matter how many times you've read the Bible through. What matters most is how much of the Bible has gotten in you. (Ken Whitten)
"For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires."(Heb. 4:12)

I was blessed to be able to sing and speak today at the senior's conference at Westwood Baptist Church in Live Oak, Florida. Ken Whitten, pastor at Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida did the preaching and was such a blessing!! I needed to hear his messages of encouragement. I also loved the senior adult conference choir! Thankful for God's goodness and mercy.

"Spring up, O well! Sing about it."(Num. 21:17)
Be the one that someone else can sense God's presence in, even the ones who question His love or even His existence.
Put on the garment of praise and sing for joy for what God is bringing about in your life. Have the joy down in your heart so it can spring up like a well.

The Bible warns us over and over about presuming upon tomorrow. I’m not guaranteed a tomorrow, and neither are you. Jesus said, “No procrastination. No backward looks. You can’t put God's kingdom off till tomorrow. Seize the day” (Luke 9:62 MSG).
You have no guarantee that you will live tomorrow. Whatever you’re going to do, you better do it now. (Rick Warren)
