God Looks At The Heart

I'm thankful for this...

"God does not see the same way people see. People look at the outside of a person, but the Lord looks at the heart."
(1 Sam. 16:7)

Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled

"Do not let your hearts be troubled...Trust in God..."

(John 14:1)

Believe that God will complete the good work He began in you. Don't dwell on past failures. He can turn downfalls into testimonies. Share with others how you stumbled and now have been lifted up to a higher plane of life with God. Your enemy has nothing good to say about you. Don't repeat his lies. Believe God's promises and believe in Him. See Him with open arms and an open heart of love and forgiveness.

God Puts The Fallen On Their Feet

Brokenness is God’s way of moving you into a new identity and a new life. Because God is the Healer of the broken, you can trust Him to put you back together when you’ll never be able to put yourself together on your own. (Robin Dugall)

Go Into The World

God has made a way for us that leads far beyond disappointment. God has big plans for us — things to do, people to see, places to go…

Christ promises us that, beyond disappointment, something better awaits us. Some mission God designed just for us, custom tailored — something that takes us not on a road to nowhere but to a place where we can feed others just as He has fed us. “Go,” He told his disciples in Matthew 28:16–20. Go into all the world. Keep going past disappointment. Go and… Continue

God Heals The Brokenhearted

A crushing hurt comes to our heart and the sympathizing, scarred hand of Christ presses the wound; and just for a moment, the pain seems to intensify,...but finally the bleeding stops. (Beth Moore)
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."(Ps.147:3)

Resist The Devil

God's peace can always be with you, regardless of your circumstances. As the wind signals an upcoming storm, you can know for certain that God is there with you.

Storms will draw you closer to Him as you seek shelter, or it can drive you away as the rain of discouragement causes a downpour on your faith.

Think of the storms as a time to feel His presence and give you an inner calmness. Hope in God will keep you buoyed in the rough seas. Nothing can overcome you that He can't stop.… Continue

It Will Be Worth It All

God knows about your dilemma and sees your circumstances. There are opportunities along with the obstacles. Each situation is either a stepping stone or a stumbling block.

Move up to another realm of spiritual awareness. Allow your ears to become attentive and your eyes more alert to the circumstances you face each day.

You may panic for a moment, but allow God's peace to enter and endure. Your biggest and longest struggle is hardly a fleeting moment compared to the life of eternity… Continue

Cast Your Cares

Do not be afraid of things to come. God will be there to help you with your struggles and to lift your burdens. Let Him take your worries and cares. Release each one to Him and stand tall with a new sense of hope and belief. Believe in His Word. Remember His promises. Read them out loud as a reminder to you about what He can do. When it seems impossible, that is when all things are possible for those who abide in Him.

"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares about you."(1 Peter… Continue

Romans 8:28

"...In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I've conquered the world." (John 16:33)

God’s faithfulness doesn’t guarantee an easy journey through life. In fact, He promises exactly the opposite: He promises that in this life we will have trials and tribulations, hardship and pain. Yet He who is sovereign and wise and loving and good also promises that the tough times aren’t wasted. (Sheila Walsh)

"We know that in all things God works for good… Continue

Love Your Enemies

We all have difficult people in our life, but hear this: God can use them to help you become the best version of you - maybe even more than the people you like. Other people don't create your spirit; they reveal your spirit. (John Ortberg)

"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your friends, hate your enemies.' But now I tell you: love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be children of your Father in heaven. For He makes His sun shine on bad and good people… Continue

You Are Loved

Cheer up; you’re a lot worse off than you think you are, but in Jesus you’re far more loved than you ever could have imagined. (Jack Miller)
"...Nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God."(Rom.8:39)

Trust God...Not Your Feelings

We must choose between facing our feelings or facing the facts of God. Our feelings may be as uncertain and changing as the sea or shifting sand. God's facts, however, are as certain as the Rock of Ages Himself---"Jesus Christ...the same yesterday and today and forever"(Heb.13:8)

When darkness veils His lovely face

I rest on His unchanging grace;

In every strong and stormy gale,

My anchor holds within the veil.

On Christ the solid rock I stand

All other… Continue

Hope Forever

"Why must I go about mourning?"(Ps.42:9)

Dear believer, can you answer the above question? Can you find any reason why you are so often mourning instead of rejoicing? Why do you allow your mind to dwell on gloomy thoughts? Who told you that night will never end in day? Who told you that the winter of your discontent would continue from frost to frost and from snow, ice, and hail to even deeper snow and stronger storms of despair? Don't you know that day dawns after night, showers displace… Continue

God...Our Strenth

Thank you, Lord. Those of us who know Jesus as our personal Savior can still repeat these words through difficult days with confidence.

"... I still belong to You; You are holding my right hand. You will keep on guiding me with Your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. Whom have I in heaven but You? I desire You more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; He is mine forever."

Remember The Lord...He Will Direct Everything You Do

"Remember the Lord in everything you do, and He will show you the right way."(Ps.3:6)

We can almost hear God saying to us: "Leave the control of your life to Me."
Trust Him. He has it all figured out. His understanding is infinite. He sees your past, present, and future. He knows you better than you know yourself. And He loves you totally. He will guide you step by step.

This World Is Not My Home

"For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come."(Heb.13:14)

This world is not my home, I'm just a passing through
My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue.
The angels beckon me from heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

The Beginning And The End

“I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”"(Rev.1:8)

The Lord God is the beginning and the end. God the Father is the eternal Lord and ruler of the past, present, and future. Without him you have nothing that is eternal, nothing that can change your life, nothing that can save you from sin. Is the Lord your reason for living, "the Alpha and Omega ," of your life? Honor the… Continue

God's Grace

Good news, Christians!!

“God in his gracious kindness declares us not guilty. For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins. We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed his blood, sacrificing his life for us.” (Rom.3:24-25)

Grace, grace, God's grace
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within.
Grace, grace, God's grace
Grace that is greater than all our sin.
